Located in the microclimate-rich western highlands of Guatemala near the Mexican border, the Todosantarita cooperative operates out of San Antonio Huista in the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes mountains. Named after a famous local November 1st festival and horse race, the cooperative was officially founded in 1992 with support from Fedecocagua, evolving from a 17-member group formed in 1986. Today, the 131-member cooperative has successfully invested its resources into major community infrastructure, including road repairs, a school, a library, a medical clinic, and clean drinking water systems.
